I trained with Stott Pilates in Toronto. Pilates promotes strength and balanced muscles, as well as improving flexibility and increasing range of movement in the joints. I teach mostly general level but give alternatives to beginners and those with injuries.

My class aims to strengthen the body in every way with emphasis on core strength. I try and give participants an all round workout with strengthening, toning, balancing and stretching exercises. I tend to incorporate some Barre moves into my Pilates class too.

We use small props (eg. fitness circles) to either improve the quality of the move or to add an extra challenge to the move. I am told my classes are fun as well a good workout.
