This General/Intermediate level class, if attended regularly this will develop a flatter stomach, improve posture and lead to more flexible articulation of the joints. If you are an athlete this class will enhance your performance in your chosen discipline. In general it will develop a more symmetrical balance in your posture and improve your general strength and flexibility. The class starts with gentle articulation of the spine and focus on engaging your deep abs with your breath. It progresses from pre-Pilates exercises to the classical Pilates mat exercises developed by Joseph Pilates at the beginning of the last century.
Not all the exercises are suitable for various conditions and where necessary alternative options will be offered.
